Entertainment
Hot Tubs
Rooftop or deck side hot tubs are available on many vessels. Enjoy the scenery during the brisk morning hours, or star gaze at night from the comfort of a soothing spa. Check with your marina operator to ensure your boat offers this fabulous feature.
Slide
Who can resist making a splash with a ride down a waterside? Kids of all ages will spend countless hours sliding into the beautiful lake, and adults can join in the fun too! Most vessels offer slides from the roof down to the water, but check with your marina operator for details.
Home Entertainment System
Never miss a big game, golf tournament, or new movie with the family! Although we encourage our guests to unwind and unplug, most vessels offer one or more televisions with satellite programming so that you won’t miss a thing.
Pets
Just like people, pets love the water and are welcome on most houseboats with an additional pet deposit. Check with your marina operator about pet-friendly boats, and local leashing laws for shoreline exploring. Most marinas also sell pet supplies in case you forget Fido’s favorite treats, food or toy.
Accommodations
Houseboat interiors range in size, features and amenities, with models to suit any vacation style, group size and budget. From luxurious appointments to cozy value, our marinas have a vessel just right for your group.
Grilling
Whether you favor homemade burgers or wish to grill the catch of the day, most vessels come equipped with barbeques. There are a few boats that do not have a barbeque, so check with your marina of choice before you rent.
Refrigerator
All vessels are equipped with refrigerators to keep food cold. They range in size from small to full-size. So, it’s a good idea to keep your meats frozen and beverages on ice in a cooler to ensure freshness, until you know the size of the fridge on your boat.
Kitchen Galley
Just like home, kitchens are fully equipped with appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare and serve meals and snacks. Dishwashers are available on many houseboats, but not all of them. To limit the need to wash utensils and dishes, many people opt to bring paper plates and plastic utensils for easy clean up.
Bedrooms
Private staterooms are furnished sleeping quarters complete with beds ranging in size from spacious queens to bunk beds for the kids. Vessels have as few as one and as many as eight bedrooms to suit your vacation style, group size, and budget.
Sleeping
Even though you’re on a boat, the roomy interior of a houseboat provides ample sleeping space with pull-out beds and convertible sofas. If you prefer to sleep under the stars, bring an air mattress and camp on the deck.
